Enas Jouda ist Leiterin der Ausbildung und Kapazitätsentwicklung des Gaza Community Mental Health Programme. Das GCMHP ist die führende palästinensische Nichtregierungs-Organisation, die den Bewohnern des Gazastreifens psychosoziale Dienste anbietet. Das erklärte Ziel der Organisation ist es, Frauen, Kindern und Opfern von Gewalt, Folter und Menschenrechtsverletzungen zu helfen. Sie ist Psychodramatherapeutin und Ausbilderin im GCMPH. Der Kontakt zu ihr entstand über eine deutsche Psychodrama-Lehrtherapeutin, Dorothea Ensel, die seit Jahren als Psychodrama-Ausbilderin im Gazastreifen tätig ist.
Auf meine Anfrage Anfang März 24, ob sie uns über ihre gegenwärtige Situation in Gaza berichten könne, sandte sie mir (A. Boeckh) eine Videobotschaft und einen kurzen Artikel zum Thema Posttraumatische Belastungsstörungen als Folgen des Krieges in Gaza: Diagnose, Symptome, Bewältigungsstrategien.
Report on the personal situation in Gaza and the challenges of coping with the PTSD of the population caused by the war
Enas Jouda is head of the training and capacity building of the Gaza Community Mental Health Programme. The GCMHP is the leading Palestinian non-governmental organisation offering psychosocial services to the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip. The organisation’s declared aim is to help women, children and victims of violence, torture and human rights violations. The organisation employs over 135 staff, is involved in 18 international, regional and local associations and networks and has treated over 20,000 patients.
She is a psychodrama therapist and trainer at GCMPH. I got in touch with her through a German psychodrama teaching therapist, Dorothea Ensel, who has been working as a psychodrama trainer in the Gaza Strip for years.
When I asked her at the beginning of March 24 if she could tell us about her current situation in Gaza, she sent me (A. Boeckh) a video message and a short article on post-traumatic stress disorder as a consequence of the war in Gaza: diagnosis, symptoms, coping strategies.
